Cardinal 5K Run/Walk

Our first event of the year is coming up soon! The Cardinal 5K Run/Walk takes place Saturday, June 26 in both Muncie and Marion. Both will start and finish at each location’s Depot. Muncie will feature a competitive, timed race with a family-friendly fun run/walk in Marion. The Muncie route will take participants through the Hughes Nature Preserve, over the new Kitselman bridge and trailhead, through the John Craddock Wetlands and Nature Preserve, and along both the Cardinal and White River Greenways. Trail Clean Up

We’re continuing our monthly trail clean-up days in June. This month’s activity takes place Friday, June 25 from 2-4 and will meet at our headquarters at the Muncie Depot. This is a great way to help us keep the trail looking great and to give back.  We’ll provide all the equipment so all you need to do is show up!

Trail Ride

After you finish the Cardinal 5K Run/Walk you’ll be ready for the Cardinal GGT ride! This event continues the tradition of the Great Greenway Tour and like the run/walk will be offered in both Muncie and Marion. It takes place Saturday, July 31, and offers multiple ride distances in Muncie and a family fun ride with one route in Marion. You can find more information and register here.
