October 31 & November 1, 2025, 7:00pm – 11:00pm ET
Join us for this event in the Regional Series as we head up to Jonesboro for a spooky, family-friendly walking event. Parking for this event is at the Jonesboro Trailhead, 213 N. Water St., with a short walk south to First St.
Turkey Trot is Cardinal Greenways’ classic Thanksgiving Walk/Run. The non-competitive event is for walkers and runners, and their dogs too, or all ages and abilities. Beginning at the Historic Wysor Street Depot at 8:00 a.m., participants have the option of walking or running different routes along the beautiful Cardinal Greenway and the scenic White River Greenway. We ask that you bring small toiletry items to benefit Isaiah 117 House’s mission to help children in foster care. Participants are encouraged to wear something fun to show their Thanksgiving/Turkey Trot spirit. Hot cider, coffee, fruit and other refreshments are served at the Depot. It’s a fun event from beginning to end!
This is the first event of the Regional Series. This event will offer multiple routes and distances up to 100 miles beginning and ending at the Muncie Depot – special awards will be given to those who complete 100 miles! Registration fee includes t-shirt, SAG stops and lunch.
Cardinal Greenways hosts many events each year,
from competitive races to casual family-friendly events.
