Cardinal WIN

Thanks to everyone who came out for our final event of the Summer, Cardinal WIN. We had walkers complete distances of 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in both Muncie and Marion and show their support of the Greenway. You can find more photos of the event here. 

Trail Guides

Next time you’re on the Greenway pick up one of our new trail guides that are available at each trailhead. They’ve been updated with lots of additions to the Greenway including a new map listing the amenities available at each trailhead. They also have a QR code that can be used to submit maintenance issues or things that need attention.

Trail Addition

Thanks to funding from the Community Foundation of Randolph County we recently installed a new drinking fountain at the Losantville trailhead. We appreciate the continued support of these great community partners and all the additions it has allowed us to make to this important spot over the last several years, including a bicycle repair stand and covered shelter. This new unit has something for everyone, including our four-legged trail users.

Trail Friends

We’ve got a couple of new additions to the Greenway gift shop and our collection of animal shirts. Both are available in adult and youth sizes at our gift shop in the Muncie Depot and online through our Etsy shop. The Depot is open M-F 10-3 and Saturday and Sunday from 10-2. You can visit our web store by clicking here. This is a great way to support the trail and spruce up your wardrobe! 

Trail Clean Up

We had several groups come out earlier this month to help freshen up the Greenway. We appreciate Ball State University and IU Health for including us in their day of service activities. If you’d like to help out our next trail clean-up day has been rescheduled to Friday, October 1 from 2-4 PM. We’ll meet at the Muncie Depot and all materials and supplies will be provided.
