Cardinal Walk

The Cardinal Walk is the third event of the 2022 Cardinal Summer Series. The Walk takes place in both Muncie and Marion, offering a non-competitive event for people of all ages and abilities with a focus on family fun!

In Muncie:

Join us at the historic Cardinal Greenway Depot for 5K and 10K distances. The route is a scenic loop with much of the walk occurring along the White River with elevated crossings at two locations, including the beautifully restored Kitselman bridge. 5k and 10K participants will start together at the same time from the Depot, but will walk in opposite directions- giving everyone a chance to cheer each other on as they meet in the middle! 10K walkers will complete the loop twice.

In Marion:

Walkers will depart from the Marion Depot and walk out and back along the Cardinal Greenway to complete a 5K distance along the former railroad route through a variety of wooded and open areas in the heart of the city, going out and back to turn around at Miller Ave.

Registration officially closes at noon on Friday, September 9, 2022; deadline to register and guarantee a shirt is July 26. You can also register day-of at the event. No refunds.

Muncie $30 per Individual, free for kids 12 and under.

Marion $10 per Individual

Additional shirts are available but quantities are limited.
