Greenway Update

Trail use continues to be much higher than usual as our communities utilize the Greenway to safely stay active by walking, running, bicycling and spending time outside. We’re so happy to see so many people out using the trail and our Maintenance team is working hard to keep it clean, clear and safe for all to use. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, we have had to make some changes, which are listed below, to our daily operations to maintain the safety of our staff and volunteers. We regret having to make these adjustments but hope everyone will continue to utilize and support the Greenway for your health and wellness activities.

-Our headquarters in the Muncie Depot will remain closed for the 2020 trail season
-Our Summer events: Cardinal 5K, Cardinal GGT Ride and Cardinal WIN,  have been canceled. We will continue to monitor developments to determine the status of our Fall and Winter events
-Because of the Depot being closed our loaner bike program will not be available in 2020
-Portable restrooms have been placed at each of our trailheads and will remain through the Summer and Fall.
-The water fountains at the following trailheads have been activated for the season: Union Pike, Losantville, Muncie Depot and Gaston

Kitselman Progress
