Bridge Repair

We recently completed repairs on the bridge near the Blountsville trailhead. Thanks to funding from the Henry County Community Foundation we were able to replace the decking of the bridge. We appreciate the support of the Foundation for this project and the Cardinal Greenway!

Trail Support

If you’ve been on the Greenway lately you’ve probably noticed higher than usual traffic on the trail. We’re so happy to see so many people out staying active but we need your help to continue providing this free health and wellness resource. Like many other organizations, the Greenway has been impacted by the Coronavirus, including the cancellation of our Summer events. While these are fun community gatherings they also serve as fundraisers for the trail and help us raise funds to help care for and maintain the Greenway. We’ve got several ways you can help support us and give back to the trail.

Becoming a Corporate sponsor is a great way for your business or organization to support the Greenway and become a community partner with the trail. We can work with you to find a plan that works for you. To become a Corporate Sponsor contact us at (765) 287-0399 or info@cardinalgreenways.org. As a private, non-profit trail system we also rely on our donors and supporters to provide funding to help take care of the Greenway. BikeTOURberfest

BikeTOURberfest is our Fall event that highlights the southern section of the Greenway in Wayne County. Out of concern for the safety of our participants, volunteers and other attendees we will be holding BikeTOURberfest as a virtual event this year. We are still putting together the details but will share more information in the coming weeks and in next month’s newsletter.

Trail Beauty

We wanted to thank some trail supporters for their work in keeping the Greenway looking good. Dr. Mike and Lisa Brown planted these pollinators near Gaston and they’re beautiful!  In addition, these plots help the local wildlife and reduce maintenance needs. Thanks for sprucing up the trail!
