Our National Trails Day Walk/Run on June 3rd lets you join thousands of people across the United States celebrating our country’s amazing trail system. Come enjoy the Historic Wysor Street Depot, home of our CG headquarters, and Cardinal Greenway and White River Greenway, two nationally-known, incredible trails.

Entry Fee: $20.00 per person, $10.00 all students. After May 26, 2017 – $25.00 and $15. 00.
This is a day to enjoy the free activities at the depot, participate in our walk/run, or do both! Our Cardinal Greenways’ National Trail Day Walk/Run will be one of the 2,300 events in the US, with all 50 states participating. Cardinal Greenways is proud to host this event which showcases our trails. So find those favorite shoes, head to the trail June 4th, and celebrate our beautiful Cardinal Greenway and White River Greenway with a fun walk or run. You’ll have a blast!OR

Be apart of National Trails day by signing up for the Clean Up Crew at the Wysor St. Depot! All ages are welcome to participate in making our trails look even better. After clean-up, join us for a picnic lunch and relax at the Depot.

Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest 2017 is our new cycling event! In conjunction with the city of Muncie and Bike Muncie, Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest 2017, presented by Old National Bank, is an exciting three-day event of cycling, entertainment, and recreation on July 28th, 29th and 30th. The CG- Muncie Grand Prix Circuit Race is sanctioned by USA Cycling. Led and non-led bike tours, demonstrations, and an array of festivities are planned for the entire week-end.
The event begins Friday evening, July 29th with a Critical Mass Community Group Ride from the Historic Wysor Street Depot to Downtown Muncie, for fun and entertainment. Saturday the 29th is Tour Day, an entire day of self-led biking tours of Cardinal Greenway and White River Greenway, and additional led tours of various interesting sites of Muncie. Plus, on Saturday is filled with entertainment, food, and fun at the Wysor Street Depot and Downtown Muncie. On Sunday, the 30th with cycling races begin! The CG-Muncie Grand Prix Race Day features a 0.7 course through the heart of Downtown Muncie, with a ASAC-sanctioned race. Come enjoy three days of cycling, festivities and fun. Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest 2017 is sure to be AMAZING!

Walk Indiana is a non-competitive walking event for people of all ages and abilities. Choose your distance from a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon on marked routes. Walkers enjoy the beautiful scenery along Cardinal Greenway and White River Greenway. Come walk and take home your Walk Indiana ribbon!
This event is for everyone! Just choose your distance and enjoy the scenic routes along the way. Beverages and snacks are provided at rest stops and various trail heads, with refreshments served at the conclusion of your walk. Walk Indiana begins and ends at the beautiful 1901 Historic Wysor Street Depot. It’s a great day of fitness and fun!

BikeTOURberfest is the primary fundraising event for the Wayne County Cardinal Greenway. Support our fantastic trail system and enjoy a unique, beautiful and challenging cycling tour. Route choices include a small, family-friendly course down and back on the trail for 22 total miles, a 41 mile trek and 58 mile route that includes a fast flat friendly ride. Each route features sections of the Wayne County Greenway and beautuful early fall landscape of rural Wayne County. Longer routes include the best SAG stop around at the Warm Glow Candle Company store complex in Centerville, Indiana.

After the tour, celebrate traditional Oktoberfest activities and atmosphere in Richmond’s Historic Depot District. Shower facilities will be available.
BikeTOURberfest begins with a staggared start at 8:30 on September 23. Parking is located at Wayne County Health Department parking lot at 201 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374 with a block party atmosphere directly across the street at the registration tent.
Price is just $30 or only $15 for students of any age. Group Rates are available for groups over 7 riders at only $160.00 but you must print out the registration form and mail them together for the group rate *each participant must fill out a form and waiver. www.biketourberfest.com

Turkey Trot is our classic Thanksgiving Day non-competitive walk/run for participants of all ages. Beginning at 8:00 a.m., walkers and runners can choose a variety of routes marked along the greenways. The morning is filled with holiday fun as walkers, runners, families, friends, and dogs take to the trails. Refreshments are served.
Turkey Trot is our Thanksgiving fun -before -the -feast event! Participants walk or run on the beautiful Cardinal Greenway and White River Greenway and return to the Historic Wysor Street Depot for cookies, fruit, hot cider and other refreshments. Turkey/Thanksgiving themed attire is encouraged for both humans and their canine friends. Participants are asked to donate a non-perishable food item. Turkey Trot is an enjoyable, gratifying way to begin your Thanksgiving Day.OR
An Old Fashioned Christmas at the Depot is an evening of holiday celebration and fun. Santa visits our CG headquarters, the Historic Wysor St. Depot, to listen to children’s wishes and to give each child a present! Young and old alike have a wonderful time listening to Christmas carols, sipping hot cocoa, and visiting with family and friends in the beautifully restored 1901 depot. If you want, you can create a simple Christmas card for our military men and women. Feel free to bring your camera or phone to take photos with Santa. This traditional celebration is a fun time for all! An Old Fashioned Christmas at the Depot captures the spirit of the holidays as everyone happily comes together to celebrate the season. Free.
